Freedom Depot started in 2016 as an online hunting and outdoor gear store, shipping quality optics, trail cameras, hunting gear, and outdoor accessories to customers across the country. Over the years, we've built a reputation for honest pricing, hard-to-find inventory, and customer service that actually picks up the phone.
In 2024, we took the next big step and opened our brick-and-mortar store and licensed FFL at 798 US-9 in Freehold, New Jersey. Now hunters, sport shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts can shop our full lineup in person, handle products before they buy, and work with a team that lives and breathes the outdoors.

Our Story
From Online Outfitter to Local Outdoor Headquarters
Freedom Depot was founded in 2016 as an online retailer focused on hunting and outdoor gear. The mission was simple: give hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts a better place to buy quality gear at fair prices, with the kind of service that's hard to find online. From a small operation, we grew into a trusted name shipping orders to customers across the country.
In 2024, we opened the doors to our retail storefront and licensed FFL at 798 US-9 in Freehold, New Jersey. It was a natural next step, giving our local community a place to see the gear in person, talk through their options, and handle compliant firearms transactions with people they can trust. We carefully follow every federal and New Jersey state requirement, so every visit is straightforward and above board.
Today, we're proud to support hunters, sport shooters, law enforcement, and lawful gun owners both online and in-store, and we're just as proud of the families, first-time buyers, and weekend adventurers who walk through our doors every week.
